SCREAM

Since we are in October, a very special month to get scared, the TV show I recommend for this time of the year is Scream, a Netflix original series based on the film series of the same name from 1996. Everywhere we go we see Halloween decoration, and when we are watching TV we see some scary commercials, we can´t let this date pass without getting in the Halloween mood.
The TV show is a MTV production filmed in Louisiana. It is situated in Lakewood, a fictional town where teenagers are tormented by murders that are taking place in their town. Emma Duval, the main character, is somehow linked to Lakewood´s dark past, and for this reason, the killer is always trying to intimidate her, and her friends, with phone calls, threatening them.
In just ten episodes, it will leave you breathless. In fact, many secrets will come to light, and at the end it will all make sense. You will discover why these new murders are somehow linked to others that happened 20 years ago. When everyone is a suspect and anyone could be a victim, Emma´s task will be harder every single second, even more if it comes to unmask a serial killer.
You should definitely start watching it, not only because we are in Halloween, but also because the story is intriguing, curious, and interesting. It has two seasons, and in the second one, you will see and discover more secrets of these characters, their families, and even more from Lakewood. A two-hour Halloween special will be aired on October 18th, and we don’t know what more surprises await us.
SCREAM QUEENS

Scream Queens is a TV show created by Ryan Murphy, and it shows exactly what you would expect from him. He combines comedy with horror, and with every episode you see, you will like to see more and more. This show includes celebrities such as Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, Abigail Breslin, Lea Michele, and many more. You will love and hate them at the same time, they will also drive you nuts with all their silly stuff.
The first season takes place in a sorority house, Kappa Kappa Tau at Wallace University. Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts), the sorority´s president, and at the same time the Queen Bee, is the typical rich girl who has everything in life, and controls KKT with just one finger. She is admired by her minions, Chanel #2 (Ariana Grande), Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd), and Chanel #5 (Abigail Breslin). Everyone wants to be part of this sorority house, but not everyone can.
The show gets interesting when a series of murders take place at the university, producing fear all around campus. The killer attacks dressed like the Red Devil, the mascot of Wallace University. Apparently, Kappa Kappa Tau is the center of those murders, and with every episode, you will discover the relationship with a girl who died at that house in 1995.
Since it´s Halloween (or as Chanel would say, Chanel-O-Ween) and we want to see this kind of TV shows but at the same time watch a little of comedy, Scream Queens is the perfect show. It is hilarious, with a taste of horror. You will definitely enjoy the theme and its characters; nevertheless, some of them you will find annoying and mean, but no matter what, it’s Halloween, and we´ll enjoy everything this show has to offer.
