HAVE A LOVELY VALENTINE`S MONTH
WHEN YOU ARE NOT ALONE
1. DIY mug
This adorable idea is super cheap, easy and it could be your own design!
For this mug you need:
*simple mug (one color preferable, you can get it at Éxito for under $10,00 pesos)
*Sharpies( better results if you get the oil-based ones)
*Vinegar
*Creativity!
How to do it?
*First you will wash your mug and take away all the dirt it might have. For having better results, clean it some more with a little of vinegar.
*Write whatever you want on the mug, if you make any mistake be sure to clean it as fast as you can with some vinegar.
*When you’re done with your design, put it on the oven at 425º for 30 minutes.
*Let it cool for 1 to 2 hours still inside the oven, but with the door opened.(WARNING: IF YOU TAKE IT OUT IMMEDIATELY YOU COULD BURN YOURSELF AND THE MUG COULD BREAK)
*Once you have it out, there you go, your mug is ready!
You could make just one for your S.O (special other), or you could do a matching one for you. I can assure you it is something your S.O will love.ve.
2.Care package
This is a simple but cute idea. You just got to buy a simple box and decorate it as dedicatedly as you wish. You could also buy a basket. Once you have that, you just add things that you’re sure your loved one enjoys and likes. Things like: chocolates, bubble gum, his/her favorite candies, personal hygiene stuff, for example, deodorant, perfume, shampoo etc. It is your decision, you could even make this idea I find just amazing. It is called “Date on a basket” and all you have to do is add in the basket/box all the things for the date.
3. Weekly pills
Since this Valentine’s Day is a Saturday, this gift is something that will be with your loved one for an entire week, and will remind them everyday how much you love and care about them.
What you need:
*week pillbox
*7 different types of candies
*7 different messages
After having all the things listed above you just have to put each kind of candy in a different day, so for example, m&ms for Sunday, bubble gum for Monday, mints for Tuesday, and so on. Afterwards, next to the candies fold a different message for each day, the first one could be something like the rules of this gift, it could go something like: “Happy Valentine’s Day sweetheart! The idea of this present is for you to have a little of me every day during all this week. What do you have to do? Open the container in each corresponding day, you can’t open it before. Deal? I love you! Have an Amazing day! Laura xx”
This unique idea is really good for any occasion, not only Valentine’s Day.
